Many people participated in the IDEMITSU GYMKHANA 2019 event in large numbers.

The IDEMITSU GYMKHANA 2019 event was a huge success, with a large number of people attending. The event took place in Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Thailand, and featured more than 80 leading drivers from across the country and international racers. They competed for the trophy of the Governor of Udon Thani, along with a free concert and various activities for motorsport fans to enjoy.

The car racing competition, UDON THANI THAILAND IDEMITSU GYMKHANA 2019, was organized in collaboration with the Udon Thani municipality, the Udon Thani provincial administration organization, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Udon Thani Tourism and Sports Office, the Udon Thani Sports Association, the Udon Thani Chamber of Commerce, the 24th Infantry Division, Udon Thani Police, and the leading motorsport event organizer, 3 Mongkut Racing Project Co., Ltd. The event took place on January 25-26, 2019, at Thung Si Muang, Udon Thani. The opening ceremony will be presided over by Mr. Pramoch Thanyapuetch, the Deputy Governor of Udon Thani Province, together with Mr. Kirakiat Yenmanoch, the Chairman of the competition, and Dr. Pawat Kallapawit, the Marketing Manager of the Thai Oil Company Limited, as well as sponsors from various sectors.

The event featured eight categories of racing: Under 1800, Over 1800, Open R. (rear-wheel-drive only), Open Lady, New Gen A/T, New Gen M/T, Super Open, and Super Honda. More than 80 leading Thai and international motorsport athletes participated in the competition. It was the first year of the gymkhana-style motorsport game under international standards.

The competition started on Friday, January 25, with official practice rounds in the morning and qualifying rounds in the afternoon. The top two drivers in each category with the best time proceeded to the SUPER FINALE on Saturday, January 26.

The competition was divided into two stages, each with different formats, including mini circuit, slalom, and gymkhana. Apart from the racing competition, there were also various entertainment activities such as the activity stage, concerts, street vendors, souvenir shops, and food booths.
